Nicki Minaj Opens Up About 'American Idol' Fights on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!'

Nicki Minaj toned down her wig color going for a platinum look on last night's Jimmy Kimmel Live! "Our next guest is a multiplatinum recording artist with multiplatinum hair," Kimmel said introducing the "Freedom" singer. The late night host was quick to business, immediately asking Minaj about her feuds and walk-offs on the American Idol set.
"A lot of people don't like their co-workers at their offices, but your office is on TV, and so when you have skirmishes everyone sees them," said Kimmel. "Clearly... you and Mariah Carey don't like each other."

"I wouldn't say I don't like her, " responded Minaj. "I definitely don't think she likes me." Minaj went on to explain her nicknaming obsession and talk about her Barbz fanbase before hitting the stage to perform two songs -- "Freedom" and "Va Va Voom." Watch her perform.

Drake Is Still Signed to YMCMB

Earlier this morning, there was a report by MediaTakeOut.com that stated Drake would be possibly moving to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation. Roc Nation and Cash Money/Young Money Records were reportedly working out a $50 million deal for the rights of Drake, which most likely includes his OVO brand, music and more.
YPCH contacted a source close to the situation that tells us that the rumor is simply not true. It is uncharacteristic of YMCMB to drop, sell and trade an artist as renowned as Drake. Stay tuned for more details as they develop.

Conor Maynard: 'I'd Chase Drake Naked For A Collab'

Conor Maynard has revealed that he's prepared to go naked if it means working with rapper Drake.
Since revealing that he’d love to collaborate with the Take Care hitmaker, the 20-year old told MTV News at our Brand New For 2013 gig on Tuesday (22nd January): “I haven’t met him yet.

“I might just have to get my stalker-mode on and just chase him down the street…naked...begging to work with me! No, I’m joking!”

Conor also relived the moment he first met with Wiley – who features on his latest single Animal which has rocketed up the midweek chart this week to No.4.

“I actually met him at the V Festival,” Conor recalled. “When I saw him for the first time he just said ‘let's get in the studio, let's do something’ so I was like ‘alright let’s do it!’

“I didn’t realise he was going to remix one of my upcoming singles,” he added. “I thought we were going to get in the studio and work on something new but the fact that he did that was really cool. It added a whole new urban edge to the track.”

Brand New For 2013 is presented by Emporio Armani Diamonds.

DIRECTOR X TALKS WORKING WITH DRAKE ON HIS NEW VIDEO

Last week Drake had the Internet buzzing when pictures of him shooting his new video for “Started From The Bottom” surfaced. XXL Magazine was able to speak with the video’s director, Director X, where he assured us that Drake was extremely passionate about his vision for the video and that he “went for it”. We may not know much about it but, we do know we’re all excited and anxious to see it! Check out what else he had to say after the jump.

On collaborating with Drake for “Started From The Bottom”:
Drake trusts me because we go back. We are from Toronto. We are from the same city. We did “HYFR” together. It really worked. We’ve been trying to work together for a long time so when it connected…it connected. And we kind of ran with that. I can’t really say too much about it…but he’s got a lot going on. He’s one of those guys that want to spend the money to make great video. That’s what he did. He went for it. He did his best to make a great video.

On if it will top “HYFR”:
You can’t really predict what’s going to do what, but he wants to do it. He’s making the effort. There’s a lot going on in the video, just on that level where we are doing a lot of stuff. His goal is to really make something where people sit up. He looks at those generations. He came up from that generation where watching videos is a real experience. You know, “Oh, wow. Look at that. Look at what they did. They are doing this and that.” I want a video like that. That’s what we are dealing with. He’s going for it.

Future Says Joint Project With Drake Is A Possibility

Fresh off the release of his F.B.G.: The Movie mixtape and a few visuals, Future has been making his rounds, doing interviews, and revealing his upcoming plans. One is a possible joint project with... Drake.
A year ago, the Atlanta rapper wasn't feelin' Drizzy, because the YMCMB star snubbed him when it came to filming the video for his initial buzz single, "Tony Montana." Fast forward to 2013, Future is a bonafied star and he and Drake has ironed out their differences.
In a recent interview with Karen Civil, Future reveals that he and the Canadian superstar have recorded two songs together, one of which he's saving for his upcoming sophomore LP, titled Future Hendrix. As far as whether or not he would work with Drake even further, he says its a possibility.
"Man, we was in the studio one time just talking about the K-Ci & JoJo album," Future explained. "But besides that, when we're in the studio, we in the zone. Me and dude be in the super zone. We be on the same page. You could turn on the beat and we just find ways to build from it, and we just trying to find time to make it happen and squeeze it in there."
